Packet Pick-up:  Race Day at 8:15 AM at Observatory Park

Participants registered by October 17 will receive a Hershey Cosmic Run t-shirt; others will be subject to availability.​

 

Awards: Top Overall Male and Female; plus 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, in each group

Age Divisions: 11 & under, 12-15, 16-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71 & over

Course Description: 

Runners start through the circular plaza (this part may be a little narrow to start, so we will want to warn runners of this) and then run the first mile counter-clockwise around the gravel path that goes through the planets. 
The first mile is the exact same loop as previous years, only run the other direction.

Runners would turn right just before the plaza, run around the back of the left-most building, and turn right down the trail past the sun-dial toward the parking lot. 

Then, head back up the driveway by the registration pavilion, and the finish line would be just past where the gravel trail intersects with the access driveway.  This is 1 mile marker, the end for the 1 mile runners. 

5k runners will continue through the start line, again through the plaza, back onto the gravel planet loop, and then turn right into the woods. 

We'll run the exact same loop through the woods, only clockwise this year. 
Runners will come out near the registration pavilion, turn right off of the gravel path and onto the driveway, using the same finish line located there that the 1 milers users.
